EverPrivate Hides Your Web-Browsing Behavior

Here's something I read about on DarkReading.com, which is a part of the TechWeb network. It lets users surf anonymously, and doesn't require any software download or installation ... not even an ActiveX control.
EverPrivate is a set of Web-based tools that includes an anonymous browser, eraser, and complimentary services to let users hide their IP addresses and wipe out their Web histories. When users log onto the EverPrivate browser, their activity logs register every click as "everprivate.com," and cookies and cache are wiped clean.
URLs become something like http://www.everprivatebrowser.com/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000000A/http/www.msn.com/. Essentially it's a Web-based proxy.
It sounds great, but I wonder just what the company gets out of it. The technology was originally developed to ensure the privacy of customers of its Web-based dating service.

Everprivate also scams innocent people out of their privacy and money. This company claims that they are not affiliated with payday loan websites, but this is how they make their money. when you apply for a loan online no where on any payday loan site does everprivate advertise who they are. Once you submit your application that's how they obtain the person's information and debit the account for $49.95 and they use the same check #9999. Just go to Rip Off Report and read up on countless numbers of victims such as myself. I called everprivate and demanded my money back. I deposited their check which bounced, either they sent me a fake check or they did not have the money in their account to cover it. I filed complaints to the ftc, the attorney generals office in san clemente and in arizona. I demanded that they provide me with statements from their bank showing the stop payment they put on the check and a letter from their bank. So far nothing, they owe me $49.95 plus $35 nsf fees which they caused since their check bounced. I went so far as to call their bank and complain.
