Motorola Launches Razr2, but ...

The big but is the iPhone, of course. When you compare the price of the Razr2 (subsidized) at the various carriers, AT&T ($299), Sprint ($249), Verizon ($249), that just doesn't look too good with the iPhone at $399. Note that T-Mobile's website still doesn't list the Razr2.

Of course, with the Razr2, you get 3G support, and on AT&T and T-Mobile you get CrystalTalk, which helps in noisy environments. You also get the ability to choose your carrier, and aren't locked into just the one - AT&T.

Aside from that, however, it seems rather underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a beautiful phone. And for people who primarily want a phone, it would be a great choice. But it's more evolutionary than revolutionary, and that - along with the fact that the price point is now too close to the iPhone - is the problem.
