"Poopod" Tackles Dog Walking Messes
I am a stickler for picking up my dog's messes when I take her for a walk. She's regular, like clockwork, and will go every single time ... while my male never goes while we are on a walk. I use bags, the kind you simply use, turn inside out, and then tie a knot in. The only really bad part is holding onto the dang thing until I find a place to put it. The Poopod might be the solution for that.
The Poopod has a pull-and-tear bagroll holder, a scented compartment for used bags (pod freshener included) and a detachable lead. It comes with a matching lead, but you can use your own. When the dog goes, you pick it up, put in the compartment, and dispose of it later. Click the logo above for a detained walkthrough of how to use it.
I've seen my dog go more than once during a single walk, though. I wonder how well this will work for that. It is nice to see that with the included caribiner you can have more than one leash attached to it. However, I can see where they're really going to make their money --- much like printers, they will make their money on "consumables," bags and "pod freshener."
Here's my question: since they foolishly include "pod" in the name, how long before Apple sues, based on their prior behavior in these matters?
They may think they are safe, based on the fact that carrying dog poop definitely doesn't infringe on the iPod, but I'm sure the Profit Pod makers thought so as well.
