Dell's XPS ONE All-in-One PC Now Available

During Michael Dell's keynote address at Oracle OpenWorld two days ago, the company publicly unveiled its all-in-one PC, the XPS ONE, and today it's finally available on their online store. However, systems are not expected to ship until 11/27 (based on pricing one out and "carting" it).

The XPS ONE comes in four flavors, The Essential One ($1,499), The Music One ($1,748), The Performance One ($1,999), and The Entertainment One ($2,399). The two high end models come with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 CPU and a 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO video card, while the two low end models come with and Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 processor and integrated video.

All models come with a 20" display, 2 GB of RAM, and Windows Vista Home Premium standard.

Naturally this is designed to compete with Apple's popular iMac, and the more recently introduce
d Sony VAIO LT and Gateway "One."

Dell is betting you'll want one of its "ONEs" instead of one of the above. Ugh, that's one heck of a pun. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
