Skype Finally Coming to the PSP?

No press release yet, but with CES upcoming companies are "slipping out" details on CES-specific pages on their websites. Sony is no different, and it looks like, according to their site, that Skype is finally coming to the PSP.

And it's not like this hasn't been asked for ... here's a forum link at Skype from over a year ago (and who knows if that's the first request). And Skype plug-in information was seen in decrypted versions of Firmware 3.10 way back in February 2007.

You can see the image from the site above (click for larger view). For confirmation, go to Sony's CES site, click on the controller in row of icons at the top, then click on the PSP at the bottom (after the load). Scroll the sidebar and you'll find the info close to the bottom. Sorry, no direct link.

Of course, until there's a press release, they could always pull back on this (editing the page would be so easy!), but at least for now it looks like PSPs are finally going to get VoIP functionality.
