MADD Asks ESRB to Re-Rate GTA IV as "Adults Only"
It's not the same as the "Hot Coffee" scandal, but it's something. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has Grand Theft Auto IV in its sights over the inclusion of a drunk driving module in the game.
As MADD said in their statement on their website:
Each year nearly 13,500 people die in drunk driving crashes and another half a million are injured in alcohol-related traffic crashes. This is why MADD is extremely disappointed by the decision of the manufacturers of the game Grand Theft Auto IV to include a game module where players can drive drunk. Drunk driving is not a game and it is not a joke. Drunk driving is a choice, a violent crime and it is also 100 percent preventable.MADD wants the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) to re-rate GTA IV as an Adults Only game. MADD is also asking Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive to consider stopping distribution "out of responsibility to society" and "out of respect for the millions of victims/survivors of drunk driving."

Another non-profit boldly wasting their valuable resources against a meaningless feature of a GAME.
If only we used our resources to solve real problems and not get distracted by the spotlight.
GTA not only involves all the killing, but also quite a lot sleaze and obscenity. The dialogs are quite provoking and should be adult rated. Good decision!!
