Pink iPhone Grabs Tons of Unwarranted Attention

A picture of a mysterious pink iPhone hit the blogosphere today, via an eBay auction. While the seller claimed it was "the only pink Iphone (sic) on the market," a little homework and searching on eBay and searching on eBay and we find it's not what people were thinking it was.

Yep, it's pink, probably because the seller bought one of the back covers from this eBay auction. Shoot, he could have had red; why did he go with pink?

Technically, the first seller wasn't lying, he said:

This is not a case or cover it is the actual body of the Iphone (sic).

He also said he thought it was the only pink iPhone on the market (which was true, once again technically).

Anyway, much excitement ensued, and some sites haven't noticed it was all much ado about nothing. Oh, and the item didn't sell. The bids never reached the reserve.
