Star Trek Cologne Boldly Smells Like Nothing Has Smelled Before

Well, you had to figure with a new Star Trek movie coming out this year, that they had to tie-in as many things as they could. But cologne / perfume?

Yep, three fragrances are coming out for you Trekkers (not Trekkies!) out there. They are from Genki Wear, and are, according to TrekMovie:

Tiberius: Anyone who's watched Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS) knows Tiberius is Capt. James T. Kirk's middle name. Tiberius has the tagline "Boldly Go" on the box. The scent is described as being spiked with "notes of freshness and sensuality" and as "difficult to define and impossible to refuse."

A perfect description for Kirk, at least as far as Enterprise yeomen go.

Red Shirt: Obviously named for those many "red shirts" who were expendable on TOS. If you remember, red-shirted security guards would frequently go down to the planet's surface, only to end up vaporized or whatever.

The tagline for Red Shirt is "Because Tomorrow May Never Come." The cologne is described as being for those with a "devotion to living each day as it could be your last."

Pon Farr: A reference to the Vulcan mating "season" which results in a Vulcan male going into "heat." This is a perfume for women that's designed to "drive him wild," which would make sense Pon Farr-wise.

I don't really know if I'd advertise my Trekker-ness by saying I'm wearing Tiberius or Red Shirt. Personally, if I wanted to attract women, I think I would stick to something a tad less geeky.
