Palm Internal Memo Reinforces June 7th Pre Release Date Rumor

Multiple rumors have pointed to a released date of June 7th for the Palm Pre, the first Palm Web OS device. Now a leaked Palm internal memo points to, if not necessarily that same day, that same weekend.

BGR has the internal Palm memo, regarding meetings that will take place in early June, concluding on Friday, June 5th at 12 PM with what is labeled “LAUNCH LUNCH!” Typically, Sprint launches devices on Sundays, so this is right in line with the prior rumors of June 7th.

That said, it could be, say, 6 PM on Friday (like Apple's done with past iPhone releases) or it could be simply anytime from 12 PM PDT on June 5th, June 6th, or June 7th.

Assuming the prior rumor of Best Buy's trial launch on June 7th is correct, and considering Apple's WWDC begins on June 8th, I think we're definitely looking at a launch in early June.
